1 LIQUID MUD IN SOAI RAP WATER BED AND TREATMENT SOLUTION

During carrying out the research project of HCM city "Scientific research related to the project on navigation channel training, assessment of deposition after dredging" - under the project of Soai Rap Channel Dredging (phase 2), conducted by Southern Institute of Water resourcecs Researh (SIWRR), the  newly unknown "liquid mud" was found deposited in the Soai Rap channel after dredging upon the designed elevation, which could threaten navigation safety. Therefore an additional study was procceded to solve the issue. The SIWRR  co-ordinated with a research group from Natural Science University of HCM city, sampled and determined the density of "liquid mud" with depth. At the same time, based on the study of "liquid mud" deposition phenomenon on navigational channels and regulations related to navigation safety and to density of “liquid mud” in the world, the authors proposed short term solution on the appropriate application of densityof “liquid mud” in order to avoid wastage of handling it on Soai Rap navigation channel.
2 IMPACT ANALYSIS OF UPSTREAM RESERVOIRS TO HYDROLOGICAL CHANGE OF DRY SEASON FLOW IN MEKONG DELTA

The Mekong Delta of Vietnam plays an important role in the economy in general and strategy for food security of Vietnam in particular, it contributes 50% of the national food product and more than 90% of annual exported rice product. The Mekong Delta of Viet Nam is located at most downstream of the Mekong River, therefore the change of flow to the delta due to upstream development may affect to the sustainable development on the delta. Based on the analyzedresultsof historical data of Mekong River flow  from 1924 to 2015, the change of the dry season flow and the impact of the reservoirs in regulating the flow in recent years have been clarified, this contributes to better understand the water resources condition in the delta and contribute to improve the efficiency of water management on the plains.
3 RESEARCH ASPHALT MIXED MATERIALS FILLED IN ROCK MASONRY LAYER FOR REPARATION OF SEA DIKE SLOPE PROTECTION IN HAI THINH COMMUNE – HAI HAU DISTRICT NAM DINH PROVINCE Dr. Bang, Nguyen Thanh This paper presents results of  grouting mortar mixture composition ratio ditermination used for repairing Hai Thinh sea dike revetment. Test results of main mechanical and physical technical of grouting mortar are met requirments.
4 ADDITIONAL ARTIFICIAL PROVISION FOR UNDERGROUND WATER FROM SPILLED EXCEED WATER OF SMALL AND MEDIUM RESERVOIRS IN CENTRAL HIGHLANDS

The paper propose the sotutions for increase reserves of groundwater by the artificial  projects. Recharge source used the water volume on medium rise level of small and medium - sized reservoirs in Central highlands. The test results at Ea Kring reservoir show that, the layers in bazan could receive approximately 168,3 – 219 m3/day/well.
5 CASE STUDY ON MODEL FOR SELF-FINANCIAL BUSINESS IN MANAGEMENT OF RURAL WATER SUPPLY WORKS IN TRA VINH PROVINCE Dr. Hanh, Dang Ngoc Tra Vinh is one of the best provinces on development of the effective, sustainable management and operation model for Rural water supply systems after construction. At the moment, the model of provincial center for rural water supply & sanitation in Tra Vinh is one of fully independent public service units. Its revenue from rural water supply service in 2012; 2013 and 2014 is 26,12; 35,23; and 41,20 bill.VND relatively. Curently it is providing services for more than 70.000 rural households, depreciation of annual fixed assets is around 6-7 bill.VND. This is significant figures which can be rarely obtained by the other provinces in the country at present. From this case study, the author recommended some mechanics and policies to improve efficiencies of operation and management of publish water supply in the future.
6 STUDY ON THE APPLICATION OF GLASS FIBER REINFORCED CONCRETE IN IRRIGATION SYSTEMS IN COASTAL AREA
